Name Change

We are so excited to celebrate where we’ve been and to press into where God is taking us.

Over the last several years the student ministry at The Rock Church has been called, “REAL” or “REAL612”. The vision behind that name was that the ministry would work hard to connect real students, with a real God, in a real way. Since that time we have achieved that vision in flying colors. We now have students that are closer than ever to God. We want to sincerely thank the leaders, pastors, volunteers, and students that have gone before us to pave the way for this breakthrough.

Now, as we look to the future, we sense God calling us higher. We don’t want students just to know about God, we want them to know Him and to know His will for their lives. We want to disciple young people to become mature in their faith.

As we as a staff planned for this new season, we felt it was time to launch a new name and identity for our student ministry. The name, “BASE CAMP” was selected because of what it represents as a place that represents the process more than the destination. We believe that this student ministry will be a place where students from all walks of life can come to be acclimated, prepared, and equipped to go higher with God.

We would ask that you partner with us in prayer to invest in this next generation and to help them to clearly know God, His voice, and His will for their lives.

With Love,
Pastor Andrew & Zach
